Maintenance Manager
This exciting role will be responsible for safe maintenance, repair, and replacement of plant equipment and systems, to ensure maximum production quantity and quality. A solid understanding of CNC Mills, Lathes, and machine systems will be needed to be successful in this role. They are headquartered in the Arlington, WA area. The company is a leading designer and manufacturer of various aerospace components. Responsibilities:
- Participate in objective setting, plan development, and performance review of the manufacturing plant
- Initiates, implements, and manages the machine maintenance program, with an emphasis on planning, scheduling, and preventative or predictive maintenance
- Monitors the use and inventories of spare parts, maintenance supplies, and equipment and initiates reordering when necessary
- Establishes and maintains a computerized maintenance management system for tracking work orders, spare parts, and maintenance history on plant machines and equipment
- Prepares reports, analyzes data, and makes recommendations for improving plant operations and maintenance-related problems
- Supervises plant maintenance personnel
- Ensures maintenance technicians are adequately trained and equipped to ensure that maintenance can be performed in a safe, timely, and cost-effective manner
- Conducts employee performance reviews based on job description to determine competency
- Coordinates maintenance activities with Plant Operations Departments
- Assists with planning and implementing plant improvements and expansions
- Ensure complete compliance to QMS, EH&S, and Lean/5S processes
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience as a Maintenance Manager position preferably in the aerospace industry
- Expert knowledge of CNC Mills, Lathes, and conventional machine systems
- Expert knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic, & electrical machine requirements
- Good organizational skills, ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, set priorities, identify and address problems, meet deadlines, and stay within budget
- Must be proficient with basic office computer software, e.g. word processing, email, and spreadsheets
- Must have the ability to work effectively with a computerized maintenance management system and instruct others on its operation
Salary Range:
- $120,000-150,000 depending on experience
